JS Rasmussen & Co encompassed a wide range of businesses. DKW Kuhlung offered a diverse range of commercial and domestic refrigerators in the 1930s. The refrigerators were sold through the DKW dealership network. Jorge Rasmussen retained his ownership of DKW Kuhlung and other companies outside of the DKW vehicle business after the merger with Auto-Union. Auto-Union continued to sell DKW refrigerators through their network.
DKW Kuhlung was renamed DKK and continued manufacturing refridgerators right through into the 1990s. In 1964, the company celebrated the manufacture of 100,000 refridgerators.
