1934 DKW Sonderklasse 1001 Ersatzteilelist
DKW introduced the 4=8 model in 1929 featuring an unorthodox V4 two-stroke engine with charging pumps. The engine was an attempt to address the problems of uneven combustion that was inherent in two-stroke engines of the period, but it proved to be far too complex and fuel and spark plug consumption was excessive. In 1932 the model was modernised and re-released as the Sonderklasse 1001. Below is a spare parts list from 1934. Unlike the Schwebeklasse of 1935, which shared this model's engine and running gear, there are far more metal parts in this vehicle.
